While on Drummond Island, MI, during the summer months and with our friends, we collect the stone and bark to build our homes. We also create and assemble the basic balsa frames, searching the internet and using our imagination to make every home unique. Some final construction is done there, but the majority is completed in NC during the winter months, where we also do the majority of the shipments to our customers.
As hand made, one-of-a-kind creations, all homes are built with the utmost care and consideration for their long term enjoyment. Caution should be used in handling, as edges may be abrasive and in some instances fragile.
Note that these homes are primarily indoor (or protected from the elements} decorative items.
Although coated with a protective sealant, keeping your home outdoors and subjected to rain and freezing may expedite their aging in ways contrary to your satisfaction.
